We have all been there, had our hearts skip a beat as we wondered if the wallet.dat file backup works, or our recovery phase is still where you stored it.
It is staggering the amount of forum posts I see from people who have lost their Cryptocurrencies due to a lack of password management, ignorance or laziness. If you are not proactively securing your Cryptocurrency data, you are really putting yourself at a disadvantage.
In this video I show you how I protect my cryptocurrency wallets, private keys and word seed.
I propose a password manager to do this, but please don't put all your eggs in one basket. Also simultaneously use alternative methods to keep a backup, including paper copies stored in different locations.
Remember : Your encryption is only as good as your password!
