Keeping your information secure and easy enough for you yourself to gain access to it is a serious hurtle for bitcoin and one of the things I think is hurting adaption as well. Forgot your password - boom you most likely lost your bitcoin forever and no one can access it, forgot your wallet id yup you guess it you most likely wont be able to remember what the heck it was, computer crashed or you dumped your wallet thumbdrive/hard drive in the trash... yeah most likely not getting all that bitcoin back either.

However a startup called Carverr is using synthetic DNA as a way to store your data. It might seem crazy but pretty much anything can be stored into DNA.

All they do is create a rule of 01 out of ATCG which makes up DNA and wala you have your bitcoin now in a DNA strand.

That sounds pretty crazy, but could be a good way of staring data

Sounds really interesting ... until a hair falls out and somebody steals your Bitcoin.

Also, heres a bit more information on this if you are interested (don't worry, I have nothing to do with that article).
