It actually is very good news but people got scared and dumped. Its already going back up and the pressure upwards is very high. We should be seeing $5,300 by tomorrow.
Getting rid of shady companies such as Tether means greater stability and less likely of a chance of other companies repeating this shady stuff.
It is actually great news for cryptocurrency. Plus hell we knew a year ago Tether was doing shady shit when everyone that came to audit them backed out.
What a nice moment to invest in bitcoin and other currencies. As you say, it should get up very soon. All or almost all cryptos on Bitfinex went down fast (as in the image down here) and will be recovering also fast IMHO.
