BitcoinMeister in San Diego! Petco Park, East Village, Manny Machado, Bitcoin. Trip details in notes

San Diego, CA- July 2021. Best of the 3 "Big Cities" in CA! That is not saying much these days, but SD is cleaner and safer than LA and SF. The homeless problem seems to be centered in areas near highways, but plenty do wander into areas where you can't miss them. No tents or drug paraphernalia on popular streets though. You see a few screaming insane people if you stay in town long enough. San Diego has the best weather in the USA, Two minute video. Of course I am wearing my Bitcoin shirt, it was the only BTC related thing I saw during my month in the city. I love the Airbnb I stayed at because some would consider the area (East Village) to be ghetto, but for a guy from Baltimore it is quite nice (improved a lot since 2018). I booked this place far in advance when people were still scared of the virus so I was given a monthly rate that was discounted to attract people to travel again. By the time my stay was over that discount was LONG GONE! The place usually is over $3000 a month these day from what I gather. Part of that is thanks to California's insane taxes/fees. San Diego is also a very popular destination and by the time I left the airport was the busiest one I had been in since before March 2020.
