I do believe that a new system is inevitable and believe that cryto currency will be a safe and effective way to transact in the near future. That is why I am here on STEEMIT. That being said, I do still believe holding hard assets such as silver and gold are still an important part of well balanced wealth retention portfolio. I am a novice and do not really invest in the the stock market other than my 401k and if someone like me (who is relatively clueless) can see the value in crypto currencies, then I am sure it will remain viable for years to come. My only worry is what were to happen if the internet goes black or if there were some way for cryptos to be manipulated. Other than those two doubts, I am fine with taking my money out of the fiat system and transacting with new and innovative currency choices. Time will tell, but I don't think there is any going back at this point. My 401k has me very worried.
