EOS Core Arbitration Forum (ECAF), created to resolve disputes in the community, ordered block manufacturers to suspend processing of transactions from 27 accounts.
"I hereby order the block manufacturers to refuse to process transactions to the following addresses and keys for an indefinite period (until further ECAF decrees)," the Order says on taking emergency measures to ensure security.
It is noteworthy that the arbitration body did not provide any grounds for such actions.
"An explanation can be provided after a while," the document says.
Many members of the community criticized the EOS governance mechanism, stressing that such actions indicated a lack of decentralization or a complete lack of decentralization.
Earlier, the manufacturers of EOS blocks have frozen 7 accounts, which could store the stolen funds.
Frost occurred in the framework of the initiative EOS911 — security Protocol implemented at the suggestion of the manufacturer of the blocks EOS42 that allows you to restore the funds in an emergency, e.g. in case of theft.
