in bitcoin •  7 years ago

The crypto community was disappointed yesterday after no announcements / public hearing was made regarding if Ethereum is a security or not. Bill Gates and Warren Buffet play the same old game of claiming crypto is a scam. New York Stock Exchange rumors about trading crypto.

The market is low in education and hence smart money isnt getting a lot of chunk . As a result thinly traded cryptos are being manipulated by few .

That's great man sir.

Very nice comment sir

I wonder who came up with this SEC meetup. I think they barely know what bitcoin is but they sure have no clue what ETH is. :D

Hi Mikel!

Thanks a lot for this Daily Update.

Do not worry my friend I think we all got scamed by the SEC fake news.

Really looking forward to the event in NYC. I hope we will get some great impressions out from you.

I do not get angry about Warren Buffet remarks about Bitcoin

Warren Buffet values dividends, he even dislikes precious metals because they dont give dividends. I think its unfair to ask Warren Buffet for Bitcoin.

When the "dinosaurs" threaten to short crypto you know that crypto is beginning to gain traction. A the same time that they make public threats they are probably hoping to buy up crypto on the quiet and on the cheap.

That is the problem. will have an impact on trust. but there is still a gap to argue that they are not not answering but it is more appropriate to say that it is not right to give an answer. one day will be missed

Bill Gates, finds Bitcoin very efficient to transfer the money, especially in developing countries, but he points out the volatility of Bitcoin as a disadvantage, compared to traditional currencies

another great crypto analysis, dear @boxmining .crypto is not scame...
here The crypto market is so down in different content as education ..smart money getting not a so much of shred..

We were scammed? - The wall street journal... who reads that? - It's completely your own fault if you waste your time reading horse crap like that. Even spanking the monkey instead would rather be a better idea to kill that amount of time... And who gives a shit on the throw-offs of Warren Buffet. That guy is too dumb to handle or even read an email. (He said that personally in an interview. That is not a joke allthough it is awkwardly funny.) And, Bill Gaytes... Isn' t he that chicken on antibiotics advertising himself as junior apprentice for vaccine distributions? You know that stuff with mainly mercury as ingredient.
Hopefully not, but that could be a bit of a shock to you - just take it easy - SANTA CLAUS is not real, for fucks sake! Well, now you know...

Comment on my comment:
I don't really want to offend you. I follow Box mining for nearly 2 years now, and, I know you try to be one off the honest guys and work very consistently and hard to maintain a useful channel. That weighs more than everything else, for sure. Thanks for your efforts even when you, sometimes, fall on ones nerves like hell. A friend of mine in my world in europe is korean...you are some strange people but way too nice to bump off.

Very beautiful video @boxmining
Greater Fool theory is a valid view.
The idea that crypto is a scam is a gross oversimplification of the blockchain technology and the value it provides.

I think they just want the price to go lower so they can buy in seems vaguely familiar to what Jamie Dimon said.

If Bill Gates wanted to short Bitcoin he could so why doesn't or maybe he isn't such a genius after all and actually needed the NSA to make and design the whole OS

Nice to see you back @boxmining :)

Good work.
The crypto community was disappointed yesterday after no announcements / public hearing was made regarding if Ethereum is a security or not.

I saw Winklevoss took to twitter to tweet Gates to tell him how and where he can short BTC, asking him to put his money where his mouth is. Amen.
Get in the game!

What a great wrap up of the market news, considering you are not a financial advisor!

You post'em and we'll upvote'em. 😎

So much conflicting information coming out at the moment.

I just think that the more the old men of fiat resort to such base language they reinforce my belief in the cryptoverse. They are now living off their past successes (and they were formidable), but now they just happy to be listened to and be back in the limelight in their twilight years.

Not sure if the NYSE news will come to be in the short-term, but the future of crypto is bright!

Great to see you posting again after your trip. Any reason you have stopped using Dtube? Cheers boxmining :)

I saw the interview with Warren Buffet and he is very good it under mind the point of it all. its clear to me he is trying to brake it. its funny he is saying
value of something net to be physical not to be a bobble. but a bank in a
has no physical value to. he is compering btc to gold but not in a good way.

Great video thanks for sharing @boxmining

Despite the recent FUD, there will come a day we do get some news related to this but we need to have in mind that the regulators work for the government so they are never efficient when it comes to decision making. The regulation of cryptocurrencies in general is not something that will happen overnight as there are many considerations to review. There are also different agencies that will want to be involved in the process which is also not clear what it is given that most financial market laws differ among states and there are few federal laws that could immediately apply to the space. States will surely want to have a piece of the say as seen by states like Wyoming and Arizona whom have had their own views and laws passed. Also, I imagine that there are others in the government that are interested in ensuring the industry stays in the US given the potential for growth and innovation the technology has for the economy.

The idea that crypto is a scam is a gross oversimplification of the blockchain technology and the value it provides. ETH, EOS, XRP and other platforms will bring real value and have real worth. However, I agree that bitcoin will ultimately fizzle. Munger's characterization of the currency as "anti-social gold" is roughly correct from a financial modeling and economic perspective. Greater Fool theory is a valid view.

To be realistic - yes cryptocurrencies are vital part of the future but nobody knows which blockchain we'll use. BTC has best chances. The other fact is the price of something like this is bigger fool game.
