Today Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies took a major dip today. Bitcoin almost drop 18% with potentially larger dips in other cryptocurrencies. The blame game has started with fingers pointing to South Korea and China. I was lucky enough to visit Seoul Bitcoin Center and found that there isn't any bad news coming from the government here!

Great video @Boxmining. I feel sorry for those who only got in to cryptocurrencies before the dip, as their ROI is likely to be negative at the moment if they cash out. That being said, I have seen many market dips before and with the current retracement, if I was in that position I would hold my coins until the markets surpass their previous highs again (which I believe they will greatly, but that's just my opinion).
You're completely right though, any time a country heavily vested in cryptocurrencies even mentions an exchange ban, prices start to plummet. This news from South Korea, coupled with the news from China, Bitconnect's closure (which was only a matter of time) and more news likely exaggerated the consolodation period that was need after the huge growth that was seen in December/early January.

Im pretty happy with the bitconnect closure, i feel bad for the people that lost alot of money on it though xD We are in a very emotionally driven market, people get scared easily. Great comment though, liked it to move it up there so @boxmining will see it easier :D

This volatility will continue as the weak hands continue to give up on the assets.
