Crypto will evolve and be adopted by the governments of the world. Like you have said before, it is similar to the beginning days of the Internet, and better or worse, things will be much different 5 years from now. The US govt surely will build in a tax of some kind. It won't end up as great as we envision it, but it will also solve many issues that exist today. It will turn out all right in the end.
