I invested in Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) some time ago and now that I looked in my wallet I had to recognize that the value of BTC & ETH is going down...
BTC
Bitcoin value lost ~ $430 in just 1 week. That`s -16%! Imagine your loss if you would have 10 BTC or even more!
ETH
Ethereum had a rough time as well, as it decreased -37% (!!!) - if it goes on like this the value could be at 50% of the old value very soon. That's a lot of lost money - if you have Ethereum - I wouldn't expect that something like that would happen in ONE WEEK! :o
A POSSIBLE EXPLANATION
The value of BTC and ETH vary all the time - Now they might rise and a few seconds later they might decrease. That's absolutely normal because a cryptocurrency can not increase all the time. It is inevitable that BTC, ETH & Co. will decrease now and then caused by fluctuating demand and supply - but that is not the major problem. The main problem is that some people get worried about their money when they see that BTC/ETH/... is going down a little bit. So they sell them, so that they can "safe" their precious money. But because of the rising supply the value is falling even more, which causes an even higher supply (because more people want to sell), the value is falling even more, even higher supply, .... and it goes on like that
SO WHAT?!?
I believe that Bitcoin and Ethereum will increase soon and get back to their old value. Why? Because it's obvious that the interest in cryptocurrencies is rising and there are a lot of people who join the "cryptocurrency community" every day. And if the value is going down, it's even more attractive for investors who think that it will increase again soon (as I do as well!).
So what I will do: I will buy even more BTC & ETH because I think that their value will increase very soon and honestly: When could you buy BTC & ETH for such a low price?!? :D
