The world's most popular digital currency Bitcoin, fell Friday to close to $ 12,000, approaching $ 20,000 early in the week.
By 09:11 GMT, the currency was trading down 20% to $ 13.06 thousand, while the minimum was $ 12.11 thousand on the Peteffins exchange.
Bitcoin lost about a third of its value in just five days, with the digital currency heading to its worst week since 2013.
Petcorp also fell to $ 12.560 thousand, down about 20 percent on the day.
Bitcoin was 20.6% cheaper than the previous closing of $ 13.53K.
