Is Cryptocurrency Dead?

First off, I want to say that I think that question is about as crazy to me as they come. I encountered similar questions from friends when the internet was first being introduced. Anyone remember how many failed launch attempts there were to bring internet access into every home?

Blockchain technology is only now being introduced to the masses and being integrated into everyday life. This is the beginning of a technological revolution. Blockchain will evolve the entire world, every industry. All the while evolving itself and improving upon it's own capabilities.

So play with the money you can afford to forget about for awhile. I would suggest learning how to measure in Satoshis https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Satoshi_(unit)

Treat it like gambling or trading with token, because that is what you are doing. Forget about fiat values... for at least one year, or during a peak moment (Holiday season, Huge crypto news, etc).

Breathe deep and realize that the future is close by and these emotional investments are only costing you time.... ironically it is taking time and being patient will relieve that stress, thereby regaining your previously lost time.

To summarize:

Is Crypto dead? No. It is highly unlikely that a technology such as blockchain, having been introduced to the public, will cease to exist. I do not even consider this a possibility. We are more likely to see honesty in politics, and a free economy. Neither of which I ever anticipate.

When investing your hard earned money, only play with what you could forget about. Like a weekend poker game or trip to a casino. This allows you to ride the lows out without care.

Learn how to track your crypto by satoshi measure. This will maximize your gains and minimize the chance of unintentional loss.

Breathe and enjoy your time in the crypto-sphere. Trading should be a fun experience.

ICO's are a whole other topic. For another day.
