Hobie cats and Bitcoin.

I went sailing on my fourteen foot cat today. The weather was nice. The sun was playing hide-and-go-seek but loosing. The humidity was thick and the wind was intermittent. The forecast had called for rain later that afternoon so small groups of dark clouds passed through, occasionally bringing strong gusts that gave me false hope the wind would keep blazing through and I in my sailboat would rocket faster and faster over the water. But a steady breeze accompanied by stormy micro bursts was what mother nature had in mind.
While cruising across the lake enjoying the beautiful weather and scenery, wishing for stronger winds, I couldn't help but see the metaphor; people attempt to disconnect from nature. We desire hyperprogress. We want results in an instant. Obstacles be damned and profits are our master. But we are humans and we live with and by the same ebb and flow that is one of the most amazing aspects of life itself. As I continue my crypto journey there will be days I will wish for the wind to pick up and I will remind myself that basking in the sun with a gentle breeze at my back is much better than a storm on the horizon.
