Death Row Democracy - crypto scifi series

Back in 2014, I wrote a short film called "Death Row Democracy" based on the assassination market.  I started thinking about what the world might look like in the not too distant future with the advent of blockchain technology, and I started imagining a world in civil war.  What would life be like if there were entire economies, entire governments, support systems, identity systems, insurance, reputation systems, etc. operating in a decentralized fashion, as augmented reality to our current paradigm?  What if, not everyone agreed to move in that direction, and there came a time where one had to choose between decentralized systems or centralized state run systems?  What would a worldwide civil war look like?

And so, we began working on Death Row Democracy.  We used Bitcoin to fund most of the first episode, and set up a royalty payment system that pays our cast and crew using bitcoin.  So far we've completed the series intro, and we are working on the first mini episode...  It's taken a long time to get to where we are, and with luck, the project will continue to grow.
