Whew, so I made a bad investment and lost all my money (don't ask.) Just trying to raise funds to get more Bitcoin. Then I tried to move Bitcoin around from my Jaxx wallet to another opportunity and the transaction never confirmed after 48 hours so I missed it. And I made sure to pay "high fees" for the transaction, so it doesn't make any sense. That's the second Jaxx transaction in a row that timed out and never made it, despite having paid extra for transaction fees. The other one was to move my remaining funds from Jaxx to another wallet! Maybe Jaxx just won't let me leave. Now that I have Shapeshifted my ICN back to BTC and finally got my BCH out of there, there's no reason to keep using Jaxx.
Then things aren't going well at work and I have been applying to other jobs and not hearing anything.
Lastly, I tried to invest in the Bankera ICO today. I read reviews of around 20 upcoming ICOs and decided that that was the one I was going to try (well, first I picked Tron, but that sold out in 10 seconds on Binance and I didn't have a chance.) So I sent some Bitcoin to Spectrocoin.com, the host of the Bankera ICO and it cleared. They said all I had to do was login at 7:00am today to exchange my Bitcoin for Bankera. I set my alarm early, went to my computer and...the site had crashed. I shouldn't be surprised. There must be overwhelming interest and now it's too late for me to get in. But now I'm just waiting for their site to be restored so I can get my Bitcoin back. At this point I am feeling irritable and impatient, just wanting something to go well.

Linguistics: I was mostly into historical linguistics until I dropped out of my Ph.D. program. I write, but haven't tried to get published in a long time. I need to work on that. I haven't written my novel yet. I am halfway through a play.

You are too close up to your work right now, like when you are working on a painting.drawing longer time you loose the overview, get away doing something else for a day. When You get back You instant see what needs to be changed.

Update: got through, bought some Bankera - that's what I came to do, so I went through with it.
Edited: Bandera > Bankera. Bandera is a (pretty good) restaurant chain.
