CoinCapFantasy
It's a game for cryptocurrency enthusiasts based on the very popular game of fantasy sports, where players select a team of cryptocurrencies to compete against other user created teams.
Why play CoinCap Fantasy?
CoinCap Fantasy allows you to use your knowledge of the cryptocurrency market to compete with other users. In the fast moving cryptocurrency market those that keep up on the latest information, trends, and analysis will have an advantage. CoinCap Fantasy allows you to compete without the burden of owning the coins that you select for your teams.
How do I win?
Two kinds of games can be played: BIGGEST GAINER and BIGGEST LOSER. Your team of cryptocurrencies competes against other user created teams. If your team of cryptocurrencies gains a larger aggregate percentage (BIGGEST GAINER) than other teams after the duration of the contest your team can win prizes payable in Bitcoin. (Vice Versa for a BIGGEST LOSER contest)
How do I play?
CoinCap Fantasy is a game based on the CMC top 100 coins. Coins are divided into 3 categories: Large Cap, Mid Cap, and Small Cap. You must choose coins from each category to create a team of cryptocurrencies.
Choosing my team of cryptocurrencies?
Your team consists of 5 cryptocurrencies: 2 Large Cap, 2 Mid Cap, and 1 Small Cap cryptocurrencies. On the team creation page, you simply select coins to fill each slot. You can create as many teams as you like for a contest.
What a Large Cap, Mid Cap, or Small Cap cryptocurrency?
The Coinmarketcap top 100 is divided into 3 parts. Large Caps are #'s 1-30, Mid Caps are #'s 31-60, and Small Caps are #'s 61-90. Coins #90-100 are left out due to the extreme volatility and low volume.
How are BTC prizes determined?
Bitcoin prizes are determined according to the placement of your team in a contest. You can check your team's current place and projected bitcoin prize during the contest, which will change according to your teams performance relative to other teams. For most contests, only the top 20% finishers will receive bitcoin prizes.
Do I pay an entry fee?
We offer a free contest to give people a chance to play before deciding to enter into a paid contest. We also offer 3 levels of paid contests ranging from high to low entry fees. All entry fees are paid in Bitcoin.
Do you take a cut of the entry fees?
No, CoinCap Fantasy does not take a cut of contest entry fees. All entry fees collected are used to pay contest prizes.
