#BitcoinDay arrives in the province of Mendoza in Argentina

At the end of July the #BitcoinDay was held in the city of Mendoza, Argentina: an event fully dedicated to the discussion and debate on the place of Bitcoin in the field of innovation, business opportunities and access to information Through decentralized and distributed platforms.

The meeting will be held next July 27th at 5:30 (ART) at Campus Olegario, a campus designed for technological entrepreneurs in the South American country. To have the participation of outstanding personalities of the ecosystem.

This was the first time that the city of Mendoza, through its organizations and companies based in the capital of the province, holds an event on technology that has changed the organizational and financial processes of companies worldwide.

Among the invited speakers are Diego Gutiérrez Zaldivar, president of the Bitcoin Argentina Foundation, and founder and CEO of RSK, who have designed a platform that could allow up to 20,000 transactions per second in the Bitcoin network through its smart Open Source. Zaldivar will be in charge of the initial talk, focused on explaining what Bitcoin is from scratch. Another speaker will be Manuel Beaudroit, Bitex co-founder and CMO, a bank of bitcoins that seeks to democratize access to financial services in Latin America. Beaudroit will talk about how to buy, sell and exchange bitcoins, in addition to explain trading of cryptoactive. Gonzalo Blousson, co-founder and CEO of Signature, will be in charge of talking about the blockchain out of monetary use.

For its part, the local ecosystem will be represented by a panel of speakers who will talk about innovation and entrepreneurship in the province of Mendoza. They are Gonzalo Innocenti, a serial entrepreneur who has been co-founder of companies such as Tween, Vloom, Campus Olegario and WeChain; Emiliano Velázquez, founder of Coinding and WePulse; Mario Lazzaro, Consultant of International Business in the ProMendoza Foundation.

The organizers of the event commented that its intention is to bring to the fore topics such as financial inclusion, governance, financing of startups and services that could represent solutions in the economic development of the region. In this regard, recently held in Buenos Aires LaBitConf 2017, an event where discussed about Bitcoin, blockchain and the legal and regulatory environment of cryptoactive and new governance models.
