So people have now become accustomed to seeing bitcoin in the high $2,000's. Now that the floor has been set look to see prices, in my opinion go past $3,000 next week sometime. My Prediction, as soon as Bitcoin surpasses $3,000 people will be looking elsewhere to invest money (cheaper crypto's. $3,000 is truly a psychological number. Take Walmart for instance. Do you ever see articles for sale at a price of $3? Nope. You will see the price at $2.98 - $2.99. As soon as the $3,000 level is breached then I also expect bitcoin to trade like it did while in the $2,000's (eg: $3,200 - $3,600 range). If you own bitcoin my hats off. Truly Bitcoin is the Elvis of our time. The King of Crypto.
So, as soon as $3,000 turns the corner expect the leg up to the $3,200 range IMHO. This is where Ethereum should also take off. STEEMIT? Well, all I can say is that its becoming so popular it makes perfect sense to go higher. So I'm expecting to see STEEMIT surpass the $3 level next week, or the week after. We shall see. If you are in STEEM you are doing well. So pop some popcorn and park yourself on the steemit blog and join in the fun. Thoughts? Thanks for your responses.
I hope it goes to 4 next week

You can get a better "sentiment" reading on Bitcoin (cryptos in general as bitcoin will lead) via the U.S. exchange traded "bitcoin tracker" GBTC. Someone else posted a blog about it here at steemit and I replied to his post. Just review my comments/replies and you will see more about GBTC than I have covered. I am simply tracking investor sentiment (which drives price) and as of right now it is much more "likely" that bitcoin goes lower. I am updating GBTC as new signals come in.

The "actual" bitcoin "live" ticker still shows price being manipulated by high volume buyers at lows. When a high volume low at a buy point fails to acheive a sustained rally...watch out!

Your welcome. The one "advantage" the Over teh Counter (OTC) traded GBTC offers over actual bitcoin is that you can get in and out within 5 seconds. Most will still make mistakes trading it because when trade volumes are low the bid/asked spread is wide. But still...even if you screw up it's "nice" to know you can be out in 5 seconds even if you "panic" out during a selling wave. Noooobody will promise that with "actual" Bitcoin. :-) My results have been very good trading both GBTC and "actual" bitcoin simply by tracking this single indicator for overall sentiment. I doubt you will get hurt trading bitcoin if you follow me. :-) The other blogger gave a much better overview of GBTC itself so at least go check that. I'll post the link to you in a minute.

Here you go. Don't upvote me, upvote this fellow. More people will listen to him than me and by getting the word out it means more people (who even wish to trade bitcoin) can see an alternative way to do it. I think it's safer. I began trading it here wiht a "mythical" $1000 starting account. I could blow that up in 1 afternoon if I was the "ave" bitcoin trader.

If not next week then somewehere in the coming months probably. But more important: is this sustainable in the long run. The ambitions and the expectations for Bitcoin are high, but the supply is too low to fulfill the need in the long run. Probably a hardfork is inevitable and then the price will probably be a drama for this Bitcoin
