There are three coins that are seeking to replace Ethereum with their somewhat similar concept.
Whether that may happen or not, the future of cryprtocurrency is unpredictable… how ever, let’s take a deeper look.
NEO (NEO) - Recently rebranded… Used to be called Antshares.
It's very comparable to Ethereum, acting as a decentralized peer-to-peer network. It permits individual investors to participate in decentralized monetary exchanges and like Ethereum, the token are often used for raising equity or crowdfunding.
NEO plans to tackle several of the scaling problems that tripped up Ethereum, leading to the loss of confidence by several investors. Handling these problems before large market exposure is terribly positive for the digital currency in the future.
EOS (EOS)
EOS is open source platform like Ethereum that may support decentralized applications.
But, in contrast to Ethereum, the projected platform is much easier, permitting businesses to develop decentralized applications on a more simple technical background. The tools are going to be built into the program. And this makes EOS a phenomenal tool for companies that are trying to control and monitor information flow without too many complications.
All of those traits ought to have Ethereum shaking in its boots.
But it is important to recollect that EOS is just a concept. A company can say as much as it wants to about a product, but until it's been tested, the company's claims should be taken with a grain of salt.
Ethereum Classic (ETC)
Ethereum Classic split from Ethereum and are promising to become a leading digital payment option in the near future.
As much as the Ethereum Classic are similar to Ethereum, ETC is creating dedicated mining pools and users can personalize their website using ETC widgets to advertise and show support for the classic network.
They supposedly have a better user interface that is user friendly and easier to work with as a miner. Their network upgrade accommodates more features translating in to more flexibility for developers on their network.
There are many coins that are competing with Ethereum in concept. With cryptocurrency, there are so many layers in which make each one very unique.
