The SEC is examining an application from the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) which, if approved, could grant the company a Bitcoin ETF license, and bring new waves of institutional investors.

Several investors see the SEC finally allowing an ETF in the US as the end of the bear market, and potential signal a new bull run, as institutional money can safely enter the market as an ETF offers insurance policies in case of theft.

The SEC will decide its fate on August 10 and you can now have a say in the CBOE Bitcoin ETF filing on the SEC website.

Robinhood
The US no-fee trading app Robinhood just added Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash due to demand.

Robinhood also claimed it now has over 5 million users in the 17 US states that it operates, and expects to cover all US states by end of 2018.

Robinhood only launched in February 2018 in 5 US states with BTC and ETH pairs.

Robinhood will continue its strategy to build up market share to become the world's largest crypto platform, competing with its US Coinbase rival.

MyCrypto
MyCrypto has officially launched its desktop app with Ledger and TREZOR wallets support.

Now only privates keys, mnemonics and keystores can be used on the MyCrypto desktop app. No longer available through the MyCrypto website as it’s far less safer due to phishing.

MyCrypto team has been working to bring more features since the team behind separated from MyEtherWallet (MEW) back in February 2018 due to a fallout.
