Despite being raided by the FBI the team behind BTC-e have posted in their native language Russian on bitcointalk.org via their twitter account in a statement that reads;

"Current information:

  1. We were able to access our databases and purses, we currently assess data and balance sheets Coin, this information will be made public before the end of next week.

  2. We reaffirm that fundamental fiatnye flow enters the service via Mayzus Financial Services Ltd and at the moment they are arrested.

BTC-e is one of the longest running and most secretive bitcoin exchange in the world of bitcoin. The exchange was raided last week by US authorities and Alexander Vinnik who was suspected of hacking MTgox is now accused of operating BTC-e and laundering billions worth in bitcoins. Also the exchange fined $110 million dollars for violating anti money laundering laws.

Shortly after BTC-e's twitter account fired up. In there message they promised to return the users assets starting September 1st.

BTC-e has denied Vinnik is an admin or has any involvement with the exchange.

What are your thoughts on all of this do we all hope the funds are returned for the sake of all exchanges and the future of bitcoin?
