Luxury Apartments Sold For Bitcoin In Dubai
Aston Plaza and Residences is a $325ml luxury apartment complex located in Dubai. The website is even called astonplazacrypto.com. The complex set for launch in September 2017 by UK Entrepreneurs Michelle Mone and Douglas Barrowman. These entrepreneurs also launched an ICO called Equi. The community contains a total of 1,300 apartments in which 150 were promised to be able to be purchased using bitcoin. This is the first community to allow buyers to purchase a property using Cryptocurrency. By February 50 of the 100 were already sold. The entrepreneurs stated that a crypto buyer bought as many as 10 at a time. The property on offer in Bitcoin ranges from studios that cost $130,000 a piece, approximately equal to 15.5 bitcoins at press time, to two-bedroom apartments for $380,000 each or, roughly, 45 bitcoins.
