"The Internet of Money" by Andreas Antonopoulos

As Joe Rogan says in his intros to most of his podcasts "Hello freak bitches!", On September 7th 2016 Andreas Antonopoulos was a special guest on The Joe Rogan Experience #844, they discuss various topics on Bitcoin, the securities of cryptocurrencies, Blockchain, Bitwage, Coinbase, the coming changes for the world’s currencies, and much more, but it also served as an opportunity for Andreas Antonopoulos to plug his new book "The Internet of Money" to the millions of fans like myself and listeners of The Joe Rogan Experience.

The podcast is about two and a half hours but as always, the conversation is very intriguing and the time tends to just fly right by leaving you wanting more.

What caught my interest was Bitwage, something which could be the new age of payroll.  Bitwage allows you to get paid with Bitcoin by having part of your paycheck be deposited directly into your Bitcoin account just like most people have direct deposit sent directly to their checking and/or savings account, and apparently you don't even need to have your employer fill out any forms, this I will have to check out for myself.  Stay tuned as I will be providing feedback on this in the near future with my experience with Bitwage.

You can also obtain a Debit Card to make all your purchases from online websites, groceries shopping at your local market, person to person payments/transfers, to ATM withdrawals both domestic and abroad. I think that as the ease of use of cryptocurrency evolves to a norm, and the transactions become easier and more widely accepted by merchants and the general public worldwide, we will be able to see the death of paper money and the birth of a digital one.

Some of the other topics Andreas and Joe talk about are:

Altogether this was one of the most informative podcasts about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies from a security and coding expert Andreas Antonopoulos, whom has also previously been a guest on the JRE podcast twice before:

Well this is all for tonight, and I wish to continue gaining more interest in cryptocurrency as well as investing some if any money in bitcoin, but as Nick Diaz said at post fight interview with Joe Rogan in UFC 137: "Train all day, Joe Rogan Podcast by night! all day!

thanks for mentioning that Bitwage initiative, since that could help to achieve mass adoption of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies faster.

it's concepts like bitwage that is going to be the core initiative that will launch the acceptance of cryptocurrencies, and as the ease of use becomes adaptively user friendly.
