I have been searching for a inexpensive way of cashing out my crypto currency‘s in Canada for awhile now. I have only been able to find two options, first being the btc or ltc ATM downtown which takes a whopping 30%. The second option I found was QuadrigaCX the only in country exchange which is based in Vancouver, Canada. Honestly I would love for a CAD cryptocurrency visa/MasterCard but none exist. This brings me too Coinbase who at the beginning of 2017 removed the ability to sell for Canadian residents. So in Canada we have slim to no options for CAD and most exchanges use USD so unless you wish to be hit with exchange rate on a bank transfer it’s not worth while that route either.
I believe the robinhood app could be in competition with Coinbase as purchasing place for cryptocurrency if they support selling in Canada. I know my friends will prefer simplicity of an all in one app rather then having too mess with transaction fees and wallet address’s. Never mind the name that is behind it should bring many new investors into the field of crypto.
Stock-trading app Robinhood expands to crypto
Robinhood, the stock-trading app popular with millennials, next month will add the ability to buy and sell Bitcoin and Ether without commission fees, plus tracking of 14 other cryptocurrencies.

Great post! Damn those ATM's are such a rip off, I'm quite tempted to set up my own!

Are you in Canada? Does it offer support for selling here that you know of for current options listed?
