Comment for 0.1 STEEM
my top 3 picks are
1. Steem - from $3 to $0.06 to $1 and down to $0.86 Steem is starting to get real attention! Although there's only >2000 authors as the user base grows I expect Steem could rise to double digits.
2. Litecoin - recently activated Segwit. I don't know too much about Litecoin except that it's a clone of Bitcoin and that the block size has been increased, a problem Bitcoin is fighting over right now.
3. BAT - Basic attention token by http://Brave.com for a decentralized advertising model. Not meant to be a store of value but has immense potential to change the way users choose to view ads and potentially
What are your favourite cryptos and why?

Well..for a novice like myself in crypto world, holding BTCs and being in steemit is already huge step from those who don't have a clue of digital currencies. I was told to read on ethereum, so that's gonna be an assignment for later.

I agree with immarojas, and like her am a novice. For me, it would have to be Bitcoin, Etherium and STEEMIT! Perhaps I still have homework to do.

I wish I had more knowledge of cryptos but have only begun to explore this as an alternative means of investing for my future. I am a believer that fiat currencies will take a hit in the near future. First, thanks to Dave at https://steemit.com/@x22report for introducing his audience (me) to Steemit. Thanks to those like @darkflame for driving a useful conversation that helps newbies like myself learn from others.
For now, Bitcoin at #1 simply because of it's popularity. However I am a bit uncertain of it's future. LTC second simply because of the comments and traffic it seems to get in comments sections at various sites. Seems to have some upside. This Steemit has to be on my list because, well, it is just a different approach that integrates multiple social platforms with cryptocurrency (funny the spell check still hasn't caught up to the trend). Can't hurt to get involved and start building a base for myself as an early adopter. Plus, I like that Steemit seems to offer a free platform for the exchange of ideas at a time when other social media outlets are playing with the politicians and trying to eliminate free speech and open thinking (thanks again @x22report ).

my top 3 pick : NEM, Ethereum, Steem
PS: I HAVE CHOSEN 3 DIFFERENT CRYPTOS WITH DIFFERENT FUNCTIONALITY, WHICH TOGETHER FULFILLS EVERY REQUIREMENT
NEM :
It's a true meaning of crypto currency. It's light, fast and reliable. Important focus here is, it's not based on proof of work, not even proof of stake but proof of importance. Your importance in the network helps determine how much you can mine ...sorry harvest. It has fast transaction with block time of about 1 minute, and very low transaction fee. I mean very very low transaction fee. Additional features like multisignature accounts, encrypted messaging are a whole new revolution. Moreover, it's written entirely in java with a whole new code. NEM is a future of cryptocurrency.
Ethereum :
It's an open source, public, blockchain-based distributed cryptocurrency featuring smart contract. What I like most about this cryptocurrency is that it provides a platform where other can develop their own cryptos. For instance, golem, augur are developed on ethereum platform. It's rather an asset than a crypto, and is used mainly for decentralized applications, decentralized autonomous organizations, and smart contracts. Ethereum has a huge potential and I can see many organization accepting smart contract, and many developers have already started building application on top of ethereum.
Steem:
It's a digital currency which value is determined by a blockchain based social media platform known as steemit where anyone can earn rewards . It is earned through blogging which makes it different than others. It also has instant transaction and no transaction fees at all. It's already accepted on various trading platform. The more is the engagement in the steemit platform, the more is your earning. This is the future and I can see many people believing in this platform.

Steem is amazing as a currency and I wish more people would see the value it has as a unit of exchange.
