Specifically a Bitcoin paper wallet. For example if i sold something, and was paid in Bitcoin, how would i check i had received the amount? I transferred my BTC out of the exchange that i was using so i could benefit from hardforks, now i am wondering how i see the balance of my paper wallet.
I would also like to offer my business services for Bitcoin payment, and want to know how to check that i am paid? It is the same if i sell something and accept BTC payment, i would want to know how to check the balance in my paper wallet.

Have you got an address for your Bitcoin paper wallet? If so go onto Google and type in Bitcoin blockchain explorer (Use any one of them they all work or use blockchain.info/address/youaddresshere) search your address on the website, if you have done it correctly your funds will be visible.

You can lookup your wallet or any BTC address or transaction ID on the website blockchain.info to get balance information.
