I think this is just fake news to indulge the masses. Mark Karpeles and Kim Nillson are still the prime suspects in this theft since only they knew MTGOX private addresses so far. They were fast to announce the thief and thought that he was the owner of BTCE, which he was not. BTCE will be back soon.
