May the fork be with you - How to survive the coming of August and the Bitpocalypse

August is coming

In fact, it's here, and with it comes the split, the great confusion, the opening of bitdora's box, the hastag bitpocalypse!!!

Here are five steps even a normie noob like YOU can take to weather the coming storm and come out on top like an absolute pro!

Step 1

You should already know this, but you're a noob so I'll tell you: GET YOUR COINS OFF OF THE EXCHANGES!!!

Pro tip folks: Exchanges fail, they get backed up, they shut down sending and receiving of coins, they take control away from you. DON'T STORE YOUR COINS ON EXCHANGES, like EVER, but for sure not now, it's way not safe dudes.

Step 2

Get your coins off of coinbase and into an offline wallet!

I found out about Electrum from @brianphobos and it is now what I use. It's super simple to download, set up, and use, and within minutes I was able to send my BTC from coinbase to my electrum wallet. You should do this now, since coinbase is going to suspend transfers preeeetty soon...

Step 3

Hodl

Things might get crazy ok. Prices will fluctuate, but trust the blockchain, ok, BTC is going straight moon, and so is BCC, and so is STEEM AND LTC AND ETCH AND DOGE!!!!!! So HODL FAST DRRNIT!

Step 4

Or sell... whatever

Hey maybe you get freaked out and see a good price, DUMP THOSE COINS BRA!! Not what I'm gonna do, but markets be markets and without selling there can be no buying. I personally can't see most strong cryptos going anywhere but up, so I'm sticking with step 3 though.

Step 5

Buy Steem

Steem is going moon dudes, seriously, I wish we had some mini crisis here that would crush the price down for a little while, cause I remember when steem dropped from $2.00 to $0.07 in the bad times and I didn't buy any, and now I feel like a total normie idiot!!! I'm no market guy, or crypto whiz, but my prediction is that after the dust settles and we figure out which way bitcoin is going, all coins are gonna pump. So get in now! You don't wanna be this guy:
