A dummies guide to gambling on Bitcoin

in bitcoin •  7 years ago

Hey guys. Im an average dummy. In the late summer of 2017 I started using some bitcoin I had to play poker on a bitcoin gambling site/app. It was fun but since Im a dummy and no pro player I soon lost a few hundred dollars and called it quits.

But it was at that time that I youtube's algorithm decided that my taste for crypto gambling meant I was also interested in watching tutorial videos on buying and selling bitcoin futures. It was correct.

I watched some chinese guy from seattle prattle on for 10 minutes while he screenshared a graph with a bunch of red and green bars. It looked fancy and mathematical and scary.. but my feeble mind managed to extract two very important points from his video with its charts and fancy words.

  1. He was making a killing.

  2. His method for predicting the ups and downs of the bitcoin market were almost entirely based on the 'look' of the charts that he was explaining in his video. HE WAS JUST LOOKING AT PICTURES!!

Fast forward a few days and a few hours of youtube tutorials on candle charts and futures trading and I am gambling with a $90 nut I had managed to save from the poker tables. I made an account at Bitmex which is a bitcoin futures exchange that is seemingly unique in that it allows you to buy on leverage (greater profit/risk) and I was soon making and then losing and then making and again losing money.

It was and wasnt as easy as the youtube experts made it out to be. but long story short, I have found a method that is working for me and Im up thousands from my initial $90 even after almost losing it all 3-4 times early on.

Remember guys its looking at pictures. Look into it. Im not trying to sell nothing to nobody. Look up bitmex and bitcoin futures trading and see if it interests you. its a fun and very profitable hobby!
