I think this trend is inevitable, there are so many altcoins better than bitcoin nowadays.

    Yeah but Bitcoin is used through most transactions which means it will be needed for a lot more than you may see

      The market cap of Bitcoin hasn't really decreased in dollar value yet so it still makes sense to hold bitcoin. There's a whole lot more money entering this cryptocurrency market causing all the other coins to increase their market caps. However I think Ethereum will take the top spot soon enough. Interesting to see it represented in this graph, cheers.
