Bad news from banks and governments have knocked out cryptocurrencies

in bitcoin •  7 years ago

Since the Bitcoin marked its historic peak last December, there have been constant reports of bad news about the cryptocurrencies that have sown the distrust and disinterest of those who had deposited their money in these virtual currencies. The intentions of regulating, by governments and banks, go against the essence of these virtual currencies -almost all of them- decentralized. In some countries, such as the United Kingdom and the United States, the credits requested for investment in cryptocurrency have even begun to be denied.

The outlook around virtual currencies is worse than ever, but it is a consequence of the excessive growth experienced during the end of 2017. It is difficult to forecast what will happen with the main cryptocurrencies as of now, but the trend of Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Litecoin, and the constant arrival of more bad news around them does not give much hope. And in any case, they are still at much higher values than they had when they started last year.

I feel like the media's recent coverage damaged the reputation somewhat but also cleared out a lot of fud. What some forget is that the price is still higher than when the media starting bad mouthing (the last 3 months.) Notice how the media never covers the brilliance of the blockchain, if the general people understood this they would understand Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum.
