One of the most beautiful words in the crypto world is "antifragile". I don't know who coined it first, but it is often used in relation with the resilience of Bitcoin (and other powerful altcoins or blockchains). It means, in a convoluted, but delicious way, "powerful", "strong", "hard to beat".
So, it may be old new already for some of you, but for me, this morning, while checking out coinmarktcap, Bitcoin price just jumped in front of my eyes.
Now, put this price tag on the same level with all the media bashing, all the "worse than the tulips bubble" you read and all the regulatory measures that have been taken and you'll understand what "antifragile" really means.
Obviously, keep in mind that just because now the price is high, that doesn't mean it can't go down hard at any time.
It only means to enjoy it while it lasts.

In this picture, it is almost obvious that bitcoin has the people investing in it by selling other currencies. It is actually dragging value from other cryptos. You have great posts Dragos!

Yes, I've been writing about that a few days ago. It's like breathing: Bitcoin goes up by breathing value from altcoins. When Bitcoin corrects, altcoins are pumped up with that air.

Great job, it is indeed that Bitcoin, as you pointed in your article is "Antifragile". I would even say that all those people who try to make a bad image of Bitcoin and governments trying to force regulations are just bringing Bitcoin to the attention of the mass who then tend to invest in it as they have seen its growing, determining a snowball effect. With all those pushes down, Bitcoin increases in popularity, then going up in value. That's my thought!

This is not trading advice by any means, but my personal opinion is that Stem is a bargain at this price. When SMT are coming, it will be similar with ETH, which went from $10 to $300 in just a year.

I agree that Steem does look cheap - of course that doesn't mean the price won't fall further.
I'll continue buying in small amounts at around this price, and if there is a final plunge in price, that will be the time when I'd like to place a bigger order. (which will still be small in the grand scheme of things, but potentially life changing if we see the Ether style rise due to SMT adoption)

There's a noticeable appreciation in the price of Bitcoin, especially for me here in Zimbabwe... You know it's trading for close to $10,000 because of economic uncertainty. But you know what they say: in crises is opportunity
