When I think about the opportunites that I missed out on in the Crypto Currencty world, I single handedly blame Coinbase.
The site starts out simple enough, you enter your credit card only to find out you've purchased $100 worth of Bitcoin and gotten back $84.93 due to fees!
The experience is enough to turn even the most well intentioned investor into a feeling that bitcoin is a little scammy...
If you stay with Coinbase long enough to verify your identity, the process is often lengthy, stalled, delayed, or outright rejected. It took me weeks to figure out that it really makes the most sense to wire funds or ACH and not use a credit card, but then wen you try to get your bitcoin into an exchange, they charge you again!
Unless of course you open a GDAX account! GDAX of course being owned by coinbase offers more functionality and lower fees but is often less well known.
Well that all is about to change...

The process was by far way quicker than getting approved with BITTREX, Coinbase, or GDAX. The best part is how neat and easy to use the system works.
I would highly recommend ditching the Android exchanges, get on a real computer and set up a Gemini account. You'll be able to wire funds within 1 day and get your bitcoin without the Long transit delays currently plaguing the Coinbase system.
Now, once you've moved your dollars into the exchange, the site also has one of the lowest exchange rates that I have seen and that is .25% of the VALUE of the transaction into either Bitcoin or Ether.. Hopefully in the near future Gemini adds more Currency Pairs to the mix!
