Bitcoin is taking too long.

I bought some bitcoin to buy on coinbase to buy some steem on another exchange. Been waiting 30 minutes for the deposit to clear. Until BTC fixes the transaction time. You cannot hold BTC or use it as currency. I only buy BTC to buy other cypto currency.
