Invented in 2008, this cryptocurrency in those years was known to quite a narrow circle of users. Probably, until there was information about the purchase of two pizzas by some American for 10 thousand bitcoins.

It was then that many became interested in, what kind of money, which is not necessary to hold in their hands, but you can pay them? And they are mined using a computer !? It was very incomprehensible!

I first encountered this mysterious word “bitcoin” somewhere around 2015, when a group of young people came to my office, not at all “nerds” in appearance, but rather impressive, pumped up athletic guys asking for a hall for holding a conference on the cryptocurrency system that is gaining momentum in those years.

In addition to the word “Bitcoin” I did not hear anything about the system of earnings using cryptocurrency. Money earned real, paper, stored in a wallet. You can touch, smell, count.

Young people with glitter in their eyes, almost interrupting each other, tried to explain to me, a dark personality, all the advantages of virtual money operations, methods and methods of obtaining them. At the same time they used terms unfamiliar to me, such as a crypt, mining, pool, exchanges, binary options, rise, fall, etc.

And as the main argument, they gave an example of that American, who today would be a millionaire, if not then buy those pizzas!

But I still did not fully understand the economic model of this system.
After all, it is based on the "generation" of money by the productive capacity of the user's computer.
But money is a tool that basically must have a real source of their education, for example, making a profit from selling a product or service, etc. So we were taught at the institute, and it was in fact. And then - money is generated from nothing by a private person?

I was not at that conference, but I saw how many people came there! Apparently, many people were interested in the topic of getting “free” earnings through the computing abilities of their computers!

I don’t know how the fate of these listeners was and whether they improved their financial situation, but the fact that Bitcoin has become very popular is for sure!

Today I haven’t heard about him only the blind and deaf and dumb!

Millions of followers and as many opponents of the cryptocurrency system.

Someone still considers this system a financial pyramid, fraud, another bubble, etc.

And someone - a means for earning and obtaining financial well-being.

Someone believed and managed to jump into the last carriage of this mad express train in 2015, and someone is only going to do it!

My opinion, as realists, is that it is not at all necessary to invest your hard-earned paper real money into this system, if you don’t have much of it. There are also many sites where you can earn bitcoins or other virtual money and without investments, which means without risking anything. Of course, you won’t become a millionaire, but still ...
