Bitcoin is just simply amazing! It started to penetrate the Wall Street deep-pocket businesses and the buzz is so intense that everybody noticed it and keep those critics into silence. As of today, Bitcoin's impressive run was temporarily halted but this is the usual trend of its track - after few days it will rise again surpassing its previous highest mark. Now is the perfect time to buy bitcoin and wait for it to skyrocket again.
The two biggest firms of wall street was battling head-on for Bitcoin Futures bragging rights. Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), the largest US options exchange with more than 2 Billion in annual contract trading volumes, has just launched its Bitcoin Futures contracts while the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), the largest commodity exchanges in the world with over 3.9 billion contracts traded last 2016, will launch Bitcoin Futures this coming December 17 and that is 7 days from now. These two giants were competing for supremacy on Bitcoin Futures Contracts. This is an amazing feat of Bitcoin to be linked with these world's leader of futures contracts and this will surely opens to a new landscape of business.
A futures contract is just simply an agreement to buy or sell something at today's price for delivery of something in the future. It is basically an agreement to make or take a delivery of a commodity or financial instrument at a fixed date in the future. So, even though the delivery isn't going to happen until a later date, the price of the transaction is determined today in the open market. Either positive and negative will rise in the part of investors since Bitcoin is so volatile. Futures contracts somehow will regulate Bitcoin and in a way it opens a room of possible manipulation from Wall Street big firms. There are so many speculations spreading throughout the web about this Bitcoin Futures contracts - Some says its good for Bitcoin and to us investors and others say otherwise. But who knows the future? Will this Futures give a better future for bitcoin? - Only time will tell.

Unlike OTC derivatives, futures are regulated and backed by the assurance that contracts remain liquid - a big deal; 'cause otherwise, investors can be left holding the bag.
The fact that futures produce far superior price discovery is just as significant.
Bottom Line: The adoption of these two major futures exchanges bolsters Bitcoin's status as a legit asset - even among the stodgy, legacy traders and investors.

Really worthwhile now to check sites like investopedia and digest how futures work. My main point: every dollar spent in bitcoin futures is a dollar not spent in bitcoin.
