Over the last few months we see Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies continue to become more and more viable. Despite the continuous bad press, news and spreaded rumors in previous weeks Bitcoin & Co seems to recover as Bitcoin, which basically acts as a role model on the Cryptocurrency market these days, climed back to over $8,000 USD after a 3-month low nearly falling under $6,000 USD just days ago.
That didn’t happend unnoticed by the rich and „powerful“ as we see more and more big investments made through Bitcoin. Like lingerie tycoon Michelle Mone and her billionaire boyfriend, Doug Barrowman, recently selling 50 Dubai developments for Bitcoin.
Michelle Mone and her boyfriend, Doug Barrowman, initially put 50 of their 1,300 developments up for sale with Bitcoin. The luxury development we are talking about is the Aston Plaza and Residences, which spans more than 2.4 million square feet (around 223,000 square meters) and is split across two 40-storey residential towers.
“We’ve sold all out! Some bought ones and twos, and one individual bought ten,” Barrowman told Business Insider
Studio apartments ran for about 16 Bitcoins, currently worth around $130,000 USD — while two-bedroom apartments went for 47 Bitcoins, currently worth around $380,000 USD. Buyers also have the option to design their new home using Mone’s self-titled design service, Barnoness Mone Interiors. which can also be paid for using Bitcoin.
According to Mone, most of the Bitcoin buyers fit the stereotypical mold of young, newly-rich Cryptocurrency investors. Although they still get lots of inquiries from buyers looking to pay in Bitcoin they won’t release another batch, according to Barrowman.

That is just insane. Bitcoin has gained so much power and influence. Buying such luxury with Bitcoin was unheard of just a few years ago. It is posts like these that make me regret not buying Bitcoin when it was only $10 😯. Good post
