Fiat currency cost average into gold and BTC and you'll sleep a whole lot better. For some they have no intrinsic value but those who make these claims keep forgetting GDP's and stock markets are all fed by huge loans and have lot's of counterparty risk. Would you be willing to put your savings into such a mess? Be reasonable.
