While Emil Odenburg is a proponent of BCH, and in general any one person's opinions on crypto markets (or anything) should be taken with a grain of salt, he raises some points which I think anyone who has been with bitcoin for awhile should consider.
- The future use of bitcoin: as the market continues to pick up traffic as attention of cryptos continues to rize unless something is done, transaction times and fees will only continue to rize which everyone can agree is something to acknowledge.
- The purpose of bitcoin: bitcoin appears to be moving away from "A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash (that) would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another" to something more like a commodity (like gold). In this article Oldenburg says "They see bitcoin as a digital gold and a technical experiment, as opposed to something you can actually use.” and for this reason, believes the future will be with faster and less costly cryptos.
While both kind of cryptos could exisit I would love to hear input from all you fellow steemians as my knowledge and opinions are ill informed. How do you see these changes with bitcoin affecting not only bitcoin but the crypto market in general?
In Russia, he is considered a traitor. Bitcoin has no problems that can not be solved. in December there was a spam attack on the network. There were many transactions without commissions. Who was profitable to form a negative opinion on the fall background? The day before, Emil Odenburg publicly sold Bitcoin
