Burger King in Russia appears to be the first fast food chain in any country to introduce digital tokens for it's food.

On August 22, Burger King customers received a token for each Whopper they ordered. The company has reportedly issued 1 Billion of these token using Blockchain Technology.

The "Burger King Whoppercoin" is seen as some form of "customer loyalty program" -- although the exact usage is still unclear.

There were reports earlier this summer that Burger Kings in Russia were going to accept Bitcoin as a form of payment.

Good news again for Bitcoin.... it seems :-)

Totally agree...a great loyalty program and way to introduce cyrptos to the masses.

This is actually a really good idea for businesses to gain customer loyalty and rewards programs. I wouldn't be too surprised if this becomes mainstream.

I thought the same thing.... in time I imagine.

What a great idea! The more people we can get to use crypto the better! Nice post!

Thank you...first time I saw something like this.

مستقبل جل الشباب يكمن في العملة الرقمية كفا من الاستغلال مثل العمل في الشركات ياخدون منك الكثير ويعطونك القليل تحياتي .

I agree with your comment of companies not paying people what they are worth. We see employers take advantage of many in this world with deplorable working conditions as well. Thank you for your comment.

I belive every business should follow. I asked all cafes I go to say do you accept Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency? That then starts a very interesting conversation.

I wonder what the % would be in the US that knew today...good question.
