We see the crazy price action with crypto currency prices and I ask myself the question why Steem is not $100 yet like others.
So I think outloud and see what are Steemit's main benefits to me -- so far:
- Free speech -- no threat to censorship
- Make money --as opposed to Twitter making the money, a content writer/owner makes money for posting and commenting.
But barely excitement in the press or business media ...yet. And then I thought, well maybe it is because Steem as a crypto is not seen as a "business use crypto that saves a business money" like Ethereum is spoke of and what I read.
And if there is excitement about business saving, then money pours into it. IF there is Free Speech and Money for the "people" --- then not so much.
Am I being too simplistic?
Am I far off in my thinking...or is there a point?
To me it's an interesting thought, i think you made a point. I also feel absoulutely free to say anything that comes into my mind and the people here are great. Smart and all positve as i see it. And steem as a currency for many investors may not seem that interesting cuz you can't just buy it directly for cash for example. That might be one of the reasons but steemit is pretty young so i think we should give it some time :)
