During the past few days, I have seen the BTC market all green and most other coins bloody red. Everyone is trying to get some extra bits off the coming Bitcoin Gold fork.
Reading the Trezor's blog about the upcoming Bitcoin Gold Fork comes a little heads up.
You won't receive the Bitcoin Gold as of yet. The reason being is because BTG's code is incomplete.
They did say however that if you are holding Bitcoin in your trezor wallet, you will still get your cut of the pie. No action is required if you simply hold BTC and BTG.
Trezor will eventually support BTG once the code have been completed and implemented the replay protection. This protection will prevent re-transmission of Bitcoin Gold transactions in the Bitcoin block.
The BTG is a fork of Bitcoin, it has the same signature and transaction format. So using your BTG will also use your BTC, resulting in unintended coin loss. Thus, making the replay protection, a very important component.
