Hey @frankvvv i give you and example here
You invest in ADA/BTC buying it with 0.1BTC and you get 1000ADA, and the pair rises 50%, then you now have 1500ADA. Now you can sell 1000ADA and get your original investment of 0.1BTC back, and keeping 500 ADA. I would in this example recommend keeping 250 free coins and selling 1250, therefore getting some btc in profit and some free ada for the portfolio.
This works for all coins and is an excellent way to build up your cryptocurrency portfolio.
