Mark Dow made an unpopular bet last year.
The former International Monetary Fund economist shorted BTC around this time last year.
Bitcoin (BTC) was over $19,000 at the time.
As you can see from the chart below, Dow has done well on the trade.
Well, it just came out that Dow closed his short position.
In his words:
I’m done. I don’t want to try to ride this thing to zero. I don’t want to try to squeeze more out of the lemon. I don’t want to think about it. It seemed like the right time.
He didn’t make any calls on the future of bitcoin from here.
But it’s interesting that he doesn’t see much downside left.
It may be another sign of the bottom.

Have no idea. All I know bottoms in any market don’t end like what we seen last week. Bottoms in all markets are very aggressive 😀
