Bitcoin Mining with Giga WattsteemCreated with Sketch.

I first introduced Giga Watt back on June 24, you can find the original article here.

For those unfamiliar, Giga Watt is a full-service mining solution provider. It owns bitcoin and cryptocurrency mining facilities. And individuals and companies can use their facilities to mine bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

What’s nice about Giga Watt is that it’s located in the state of Washington, home to the Columbia River and the cheapest power in the country.

The way it works is that you buy Giga Watt’s token, the WTT token, in order to rent out space for your miners. Each WTT gives you access to one Watt’s worth of mining equipment power.

For example, if you want to run an Antminer S9 it uses 1,323 watts. Then you add 10% based on Giga Watt’s numbers. So you need roughly 1,450 WTT tokens to run an Antminer S9.

Of course, you need to provide the Antminer as well. You can either buy through the Giga Watt website or ship them separately.

The WTT token sale is still going on, but we’re down to the final two days.

It doesn’t look like the Giga Watt ICO will sell out, but that doesn’t really matter. It’s enough to get four out of the five pods going. Then they could do another ICO for additional capacity down the road. The amount of WTT issued matches the capacity so you don’t have to worry about dilution.

In this final week of the distribution the tokens are going for $1.20. Personally I think it’s a good deal.

Be aware that you don’t have to actually mine to profit with the WTT token. You can also rent out your WTT token to others that want to mine and earn rental income.

If you don’t want to deal with any of that, there’s always Genesis Mining, use code jWxfye for 3% off ;-p

How many bitcoins can you mine in 1 month using the Antminer S9 13.5 TH/s – PSU included with the 450 Gigawatt tokens already purchased? Thanks

Not sure yet. Should have it set up sometime in Sept. Will do a follow up w/ the #'s.

Picked up 400 tokens at 1.05 when they first launched! Lets see how it goes!

Nice. I think they will trade between $3 and $4.

Yeah and you can "rent" them they said, so I am hoping to play with it a bit for awhile, then sell if its not booming for 3/4/5
