US e-commerce giant Amazon is looking to offer cryptocurrency payments for orders and purchases.
A recent announcement by the company about a new job position for cryptocurrencies and Blockchain technology, was what sparked speculation.
However, Amazon says these claims are not true.
"Despite the interest, speculation about our specific plans for cryptocurrencies is not true. "We remain committed to exploring what this might look like for customers trading on Amazon," said a spokesman for Amazon.

Shortly after this news, Tesla can also accept payments in Bitcoin again. Following this announcement, it has caused the value of Bitcoin to increase after six weeks.

PayPal is also expected to consider using this cryptocurrency as a means of payment.
