It has been a whirlwind journey for me with cryptocurrencies that began only a few short months ago. In the crypto space a few months can seem like several years....
I cannot even remember where I learned about Bitcoin...
I do know that for a fact that several months ago, I was feeling extremely disgruntled about the state of the world and my lot in life. I hate my job but I work at it anyway as a means to make a living. I decided to take action about my financial situation about 3 years ago. So I decided to learn all I could about investing and making money. As expected, I took the traditional route as so many are led to believe fortunes are made on the stock market.
I read as much of the classics books on investing as I could, and i adopted a contrarian view to investing, and that panned out for me pretty well, I had exposure on both the Singapore and Indian stock exchanges and made pretty good returns even when the Singapore stock market was in the doldrums. The really exceptional returns I made on the Indian stock market, as it had a terrific bull run last year, but I felt it was getting overheated and so liquidated all my stocks and got out.
As I was looking for other assets to invest in, I was getting frustrated. I could not see any markets worth putting my money in. So I started to deliberately look for negative news on the state of the economy and financial crises indicators. That was when I came across the documentary "The Four Horseman" by the renegade economist. When I heard Max Keiser explain how the banking system worked and the fractional reserve lending system, I had to replay the video five times as I could not believe my own ears. I remember thinking to myself, why are we not told this is how the banks work?
So I started looking for more info, and the video which truly struck the nail in the coffin for me was the "The Hidden Secrets of Money" by Mike Maloney. From that day on, I felt as if my eyes were truly opened, and I had taken the red pill.....
We are all brought up to believe that if you work hard enough, and have the right skills, life will reward you with a good job or opportunities. That was all a big lie...an extremely tiny fraction of the world population had this game rigged from the start and it starts with our fraudulent financial system and monetary. These markets are rigged to increase the disparity between the rich and the poor...there was no real chance for a person who was born on the wrong side of the tracks to make it in life to the point that they could have financial independence.
The system is rigged to enslave us. And it starts with our education system. Money is number one cause of stress for all of us, as it dictates the quality of our life and how we lead our lives, yet, we are never taught about money in schools, why? Instead we are taught to pay our taxes like good citizens and the state will take care of us, we are told we have to get a mortgage to own a house, enslaving ourselves with a financial burden that for many span the remainder of their lives.
I am not a socialist and I don't believe in giving handouts via taxation, but we have to admit that we do not have true capitalism either. Because for real capitalism to exist, free markets need to exist. But it does not.
The entire system is corrupt and catered to serve the rich, who skim off the cream before letting the scraps filter down to the secondary retail markets.
Bitcoin empowers us to have true sovereignty of our wealth for the first time. And people are being awakened from their slumber for some reason with a mighty gale in 2017. So spread the news, tell your loved ones and your friends, and break the chains of bondage.
We will not be slaves, No more! No More!
