Hi Steemians,
This article was published in the "West Australian" newspaper today (page 3 in the "your money" section) and really caught my eye for all of the wrong reasons.
Now, lets get one thing straight, I am a "novice" when it comes to crypto, sure, I own a few different coins, but my knowledge has a long way to develop before I would even consider tackling a full page spread in a State newspaper.
So, getting to the crux of my disgust, in this muppets article titled "unstable bitcoin's fractured future" the author claims that crypto's have no future income stream attached to them... obviously he has never heard of some of the dividend tokens out there such as NEO, OMG, PIVX and DASH.
Furthering his stupidity, he also claims that those buying crypto have "finally realised they have been buying absolutely nothing" and that is the reason for the latest crypto "plunge", seemingly oblivious to the projects behind these currencies, yes they are real, with many already having working products that solve real world problems.
On the positive side, this bad press that crypto is getting at the moment makes for excellent buying opportunities, and for the skeptics out there, when was the last time a 500bn market collapsed completely??
I'm out :)
Bitcoin price will be down soon for some days..This will be great opportunity for all those buyers who want to buy this cryptocurrency.

Newspapers always put bait articles to entertain their audience. Also, often journalists do not have a deep knowledge of the subject!
