Mine favorite golden goose for long was steem but because the skyrocketing stopped at one point and we are filling our tanks with more gas to skyrocket, so that's why I haven't been so fond of it anymore but it's day will come again.
Antshares (ANS) is currently my top boy just because I bought it at low price and I'm hoping the chinese will one day make this currency their own bitcoin, plus their logo is pretty cool it's like from some arcade game that you just wanna feed all your money in.
For me I have a preference for the Bitcoin. This is the first currency I minne (when she was worth $ 8). I also like the SteemDollar because it is associated with Steemit and that one can imagine a lot of things in the future thanks to this currency (Transfer between friends, payment of object etc ...). Anyway thank you I will follow you because you are someone very generous.

My favorite crypto is bitcoin, haha jk. It's litecoin. I like it because the logo looks cool and it's not too expensive of a coin, but not too cheap, like less than 5$

My Favorite and with a future in real use, is FACTOM, that can be used to create an hash of a document, and to store in the chain, to create a proof that the document itself, if hashed again and compared to the hash stored in blockchain is the same, so that there is the proof that the document you have in hand was not modified and is equal to the original one.

Well yes i bought a lot of time ago, when, both factom price and btc price Vs. fiat was much more low.. but i don't know how is the buy price in terms of fiat $ or euro, when i bought... but is not only a matter of speculation, i bought because i believe in the project, and in his real use for real life.

my favourite currency is XEM - NEM because of the proof of importance concept it tries to bring into the cryptocurrency market. I find that bitcoin, litecoin etc are becoming too centralised by the miners due to the proof of work concept, so i think proof of importance is one way of approaching the issue

Well yes Nem is different kinda deal than your usual crypto I'll give you that. In the end in every crypto the community plays a huge role how that coin survives and will it collapse or not. :)

Yep and until now i think it all depends on bitcoin surviving. If bitcoin fails i dont think many altcoins will have a really bright future ahead.

for me it is Litecoin , because is moving at a very fast pace and remains strong as ever after more than 5 years of operation, which is not the reality for many others ccoins and last I was lucky to buy a little off it when really at low price

Right now, I would have to pick, LBC (LBRY Credits). I think the platform they are on offers something that will be of interest to a lot of people. I also think that the LBRY platform has the ability to quickly be adopted by the masses that are eager to "consume" digital content. LBRY solves the problem for both the content creator and the content end user.... it removes the need for unnecessary "middle-men".

I know you didn't want this answer but my favorite is STEEM ! It's the first and only cryptocurrency I've ever got to deal with so there's not much of a choice, you know ? But if I had to choose something different, I would go with DASH. It seems very promising for the future.
