Ever since the Bitcoin whitepaper got released on October 31st, 2008, everybody interested in Bitcoin and crypto has been wondering who that Satoshi Nakamoto, whether it's a group of people or an individual, male female and so. A lot of names have been tossed around, but they were all wrong.
Now we know!!!
The evidence is so compelling, we need to call it proof.
Santa Claus is Satoshi Nakamoto!!!
How did I figure this out? Let's have a look at the hints he's left us to guess.
Hint 1: The pseudonym
This is a very obvious one in retrospect. I mean, c'mon, be more creative. Santaoshi Naclausmoto isn't really a good disguise.
Hint 2: Price drop in 2016
We could see a heavy price drop shortly before Christmas last year:
Hint 3: Price drop in 2017
Even more apparent than 2016 was what just happened over the last couple of days. And it's obvious why! Santa needs money to buy presents! Therefore he's been selling a lot of the Bitcoin he was hodling. That's also the reason why such massive dips didn't occur the years before - Bitcoin was simply too cheap.
Hint 4: Decentralization
Now it also becomes clear why Satoshi Nakamoto wanted to decentralize money. Once it's widely adopted, blockchain will become the solution to decentralize Christmas gifts. Imagine all presents being tokenized and stored on the blockchain, he would never have to climb chimneys, travelling and stress over Christmas would finally come to an end.
Welcome, Santa!
So, now that we know we can prepare for further price drops of Bitcoin and other cryptos before Christmas every year and we can be relaxed about the overall long-term price movement, which Santa will want to go up and up and up so he can afford more and better gifts for everyone.
Merry Christmas to everybody - I hope the grintsch didn't spoil it for you ;-)
